There are many characters appear in Genshin Impact and many have yet to introduced(currently Ver. 1.4). So be expected the new characters for a monthly update.

Main Characters

The celestial twins

Lumine(the younger twin) and Aether(the elder twin) Lumine Japanese VA: Aoi Yuuki, Aether Japanese VA: Shun Horie

Dimension-hopping twins that serve as the two possible Player Character options. Whichever twin you do not pick becomes the one missing whom the player explores Teyvat to find. Little about their lives before arriving in Teyvat is known, but the story implies something has happened to their home world that makes it difficult or impossible to return.

The twin you picked in the opening cutscene who becomes the protagonist and Player Character stranded on Teyvat following an encounter with the Unknown God. Separated from their sibling in this unknown world, the Traveler met Paimon after fishing her out of the sea by accident. With Paimon's guidance, they seek to travel the world in search of the guardian deities known as the "Seven" in hopes of reuniting with their twin and finding a way to regain their lost powers to travel through dimensions.

In combat they can use any element, currently Anemo and Geo as of v1.1. As an Anemo unit, their Elemental Skill, Palm Vortex, creates a wind vortex that can blow away enemies and can be charged for extra hits beforehand, while their Elemental Burst, Gust Surge, launches a tornado that can carry away small-to-medium-sized enemies; both attacks can deal extra Hydro, Cryo, Pyro or Electro damage depending on which element it comes into contact first. As a Geo Unit, their Elemental Skill, Starfell Sword, slams a boulder onto an enemy, which can be climbed and whose location can be aimed if held, while their Elemental Burst, Wake of Earth, generates a stomping shockwave that launches rocky spikes around them, which can also double as protection; both attacks can generate shield crystals which can be used to negate elemental damage.

Paimon

Japanese VA: Aoi Koga

A fairy-like being whom the Traveler met not long after getting stranded in the world of Tevyat. She guides the Traveler around in the world's landscape.

Mondstadt

The Knights of Favnious

Amber(Outrider)

Japanese VA: Manaka Iwami

The cheerful sole Outrider of the Knights of Favonius, Amber is the first character whom the Traveler and Paimon meet in Teyvat. She serves as your city guide to Mondstadt in the Prologue.

Amber specializes in crowd control, exemplified in her Elemental Skill, Explosive Puppet, where she throws her explosive stuffed toy, Baron Bunny, to distract enemies before detonating whenever its time expires or it takes a lot of hits, while her Elemental Burst, Fiery Rain, fires off a volley of burning arrows.

Lisa Minci (The Librarian)

 Japanese VA: Rie Tanaka

Head librarian of the Knights of Favonius, a powerful witch, and an alumna of the prestigious Sumeru Academia. Her seemingly mellow, narcoleptic disposition belies a woman who takes her job seriously, down to intimidating anyone who overextends their book rentals.

Lisa's playing style revolves around strategic application of her Elemental Skill, Violet Arc—in its rapid-fire form, it launches a ball of electricity onto an enemy, inflicting them with the "Conductive" status (up to three stacks per enemy); when fully charged, she can unleash a thunderbolt upon enemies around her, with enemies afflicted with "Conductive" taking increased damage. Her Elemental Burst, Lightning Rose, sets up a floating lantern which zaps any enemy that comes too close.

Kaeya Alberich(Cavalry Captain)

Japanese VA: Kosuke Toriumi

Jean's right-hand man and a cavalry captain of the Knights of Favonius. A smooth talker through-and-through, Kaeya knows well how to push people's buttons.

Speed is Kaeya's forte in combat, down to warping away for his final combos. His Elemental Skill, Frostgnaw, is a simple but rapid Cryo-elemental attack, while his Elemental Burst, Glacial Waltz, summons three icicles that surround him and damage any enemy that comes too close.

Jean Gunnhildr (Dandelion Knight)

Japanese VA: Chiwa Saito

Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius in the absence of the actual Grand Master, Varka. She is also the current title holder of "Dandelion Knight", one of the Four Winds. Beautiful, charismatic and with a keen sense of duty towards her homeland, she is well-liked among her peers, even as she struggles with the multifaceted nature of her work.

As a fighter, Jean balances between offense and healing. Her Elemental Skill, Gale Blade, launches forward a wind vortex; when charged, she can also suck in enemies. Her Elemental Burst, Dandelion Breeze, heals the party's HP in addition to dealing Anemo damage; in addition, it leaves a field of wind that continually deals damage to enemies and heals allies.

Klee (Fleeing Sunlight)

Japanese VA: Misaki Kuno

A little girl under the care of Jean and a Knight of Favonius, Klee loves to go around blowing things up with her homemade bombs.

Klee specializes in lobbing explosives onto her opponents. Her Elemental Skill, Jumpy Dumpty, launches a bunny-shaped bomb which, after bouncing twice, splits into eight smaller bombs, which either explode on contact with enemies or detonate after a set period of time. Her Elemental Burst, Sparks 'n' Splash, summons a continuous as volley of lasers.

Noelle (Chivalric Blossom)

Japanese VA: Kanon Takao

Currently working as a maid at the Knights of Favonius' headquarters, Noelle is a young girl who dreams of becoming a full-fledged Knight despite her demure, introverted personality.

Nigh-impregnable defense is Noelle's fighting style. Her Elemental Skill, Breastplate, summons a protective barrier around her which immediately damages nearby enemies, negates all damage so long as it is active, and randomly heals her allies whenever she attacks. Her Elemental Burst, Sweeping Time, turns her claymore into an energy weapon with which she can wail away at enemies in a wider range; both the healing potency of the former and the damage boost of the latter is based on a percentage of her defense.

Sucrose(Harmless Sweetie)

Japanese VA: Akane Fujita
A bio-alchemist and assistant to Albedo, head alchemist of the Knights of Favonius. Sucrose strives to enrich the world through her research, and has already made several contributions to her field.

Sucrose specializes in creating butterfly-shaped Wind Spirits and exploiting the Swirl mechanic of Anemo. Her Elemental Skill, Astable Anemohypostasis Creation - 6308, creates a small Spirit that sucks in enemies before blowing them away, while her Elemental Burst, Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II, has her toss a flask containing a larger Spirit that not only sucks in enemies, but will also deal Hydro, Pyro, Cryo or Electro damage whichever of the aforementioned elements it will absorb first.

Albedo (Kreideprinz)

Japanese VA: Kenji Nojima
The Chief Alchemist and Captain of the Investigation Team of the Knights of Favonius, with Sucrose as his assistant. He seeks the "truth of the world".

The Church of Favonius
Barbara Page(Shining Idol)
Japanese VA: Akari Kito
Jean's younger sister, a Deaconess of the Favonius Church, and a renowned songstress. Her bubbly, cheerful disposition hides some self-confidence issues and a desire to catch up to her equally famous sister, with whom she hasn't talked to much ever since their parents separated.

Barbara is a pure healer through and through, as evidenced by her Elemental Skill, Let the Show Begin♪, which surrounds her with a "Melody Loop", a ring of water droplets resembing a musical staff, and heals the active character over time (as well as immediately damaging enemies upon use), with additional healing if Barbara is attacking, and her Elemental Burst, Shining Miracle♪, which instantly heals the party's HP.

Rosaria(Thorny Benevolence)

Japanese VA: Ai Kakuma

A cynical nun from the Church of Favonius, she first appears in Albedo's story quest, trying to investigate him and watch over the Traveler from behind.

Adventurers' Guild

Bennett(Trial by Fire)

Japanese VA: Ryota Ohsaka

A member of the Mondstadt Adventurers' Guild and sole remaining member of his own adventure team. Bennett is infamous for his bad luck, and is secretly labelled as the cause for many unfortunate incidents.

Burning passion runs in Bennett's blood, and it is reflected in his fighting style. His Elemental Skill, Passion Overload, nominally deals a fiery slash; when charged, at least it can deal a double slash, and at most a triple slash ending with an explosion that blows both his enemies and himself away (though without damage on his part). His Elemental Burst, Fantastic Voyage, has him leaping up and plunging his sword downwards, creating a fiery explosion as well as an "Inspiration Field", within which every entity (both him, his allies, and enemies) are afflicted with Pyro, and which can either gradually heal them if their HP is below 70% or give them an ATK boost otherwise.

Fishcl von Luftschloss Naridort, Prinzessin der Verurteilung(Ruler of the Ashen Darkness) and Ozvalado "Oz" von Hrafnavines

Fischl Japanese VA: Maaya Uchida
Oz Japanese VA: Yasunori Masutani

An investigator for the Adventurer's Guild (in theory), Fischl, Prinzessin der Verurteilung, travels the land with a night raven companion named Oz, and for all her "eccentricities", is definitely a capable investigator. She is also definitely not a girl named Amy.

Fischl is notable for amplifying her combat capabilities by working in tandem with Oz. Her Elemental Skill, Nightrider
, summons Oz to deal Electro damage to enemies in a fixed location (which can be aimed by holding up the Skill); tapping again allows Fischl to call him back to her side. Her Elemental Burst,
Midnight Phantasmagoria, allows Fischl to temporarily transform into Oz, with which she can fly and shock her enemies; afterwards, Oz will reappear to continue attacking (and if he is already present before Fischl's transformation, his timer will reset).

Others
Venti (Windborne Barb)

Japanese VA: Ayumu Murase
A mysterious bard who sings songs and poems of old and new tales. Venti is first introduced in the prologue as he interacts with the dragon Stormterror, but disappears into wind as he is spotted by the Traveler and Paimon. What most don't know is that there's something more to this boy and why a dragon is fond of him.

Venti specializes in making himself and his enemies float in midair. His Elemental Skill, Skyward Sonnet, launches enemies upward with an upcurrent; in its charged form he forms an even bigger upcurrent around himself, after which he also hovers in midair. His Elemental Burst, Wind's Grand Ode, has him fire off an arrow made of wind, creating a vortex that sucks in any enemy within range, dealing multiple damage which can be enhanced with Hydro, Pyro, Cryo or Electro depending on which element it comes into contact with first.

Diluc Ragnvindr (Dark Side of Dawn)

Japanese VA: Kensho Ono

A former Knight of Favonius and owner of Dawn Winery, the largest winery in Mondstadt, and its flagship tavern Angel's Share. Leaving the Knights over their attempt to cover up the circumstances surrounding the death of his father Crepus in an ambush led by the Fatui, he nevertheless continues to uphold his vow to protect Mondstadt in his own way, accompanying the Traveler and his former fellow Knights in dealing with Stormterror, as well as moonlighting as the vigilante "Darknight Hero".

As a claymore wielder, Diluc specializes in brute force. His Elemental Skill, Searing Onslaught, lets him deal a fiery slash up to three times, while his Elemental Burst, Dawn, sets his sword alight and summons a phoenix that burns enemies in its path before exploding, while infusing all his normal, charged and plunging attacks with Pyro afterwards for a duration.

Razor (Legend of Wolvedom)

Japanese VA: Kouki Uchiyama
A mysterious boy who lives and hunts on Wolvendom, a secluded valley west of Mondstadt city, with a pack of wolves. His exact origins are unclear.

Like a wolf, Razor fights with sheer aggression. His Elemental Skill, Claw and Thunder, delivers a wild slash that generates Electro Sigils which accelerate his Energy charging; when charged up, he will instead conjure a thunderstorm that deals heavy damage while converting his stocked Electro Sigils into Elemental Particles. His Elemental Burst, Lightning Fang, summons a werewolf-like phantasm which will attack in tandem with him, as well as grant him increased attack speed, Electro resistance, immunity to Electro-charging, and resistance to interruption.

Mona Megistus (Enigmatic Astrologer)

Japanese VA: Konomi Kohara
A knowledgeable astrologist who uses water divination to discern the truth about someone. Even if she loves to develop herself even further into astrology-related stuff, Mona constantly faces a problem of being poor.

Mona specializes in hit-and-run spellcasting, as well as a unique form of sprinting, Illusory Torrent, which inflicts Wet on enemies. Her Elemental Skill, Mirror Reflection of Doom, creates a Phantom in her image, which draws enemies, deals gradual Hydro damage, and eventually explodes; if she charges up, she can move backwards before conjuring a Phantom. Her Elemental Burst, Stellaris Phantasm, traps her enemies in a giant bubble (with smaller ones being immobilized) which explode when the enemies trapped take damage, temporarily increasing damage against them.

Diona (Katzlein Cocktail)

Japanese VA: Shiori Izawa
Daughter of Draff, leader of Springvale, a village of hunters south of Mondstadt, and self-proclaimed "Wine Industry Slayer". Deeply embarrassed by her father whenever he's drunk, she has set off on a one-girl crusade to sabotage Mondstadt's wine industry, starting with applying as bartender at Cat's Tail, where she busies herself making bad-tasting alcoholic drinks. The results... aren't exactly what she expected.

Diona balances between long-range offense, defense and healing. Her Elemental Skill, Icy Paws, fires a pair of icy projectiles on enemies and at the same time produces a Cryo-absorbent shield which also infuses Diona with the Cryo status once it wears off; charging it up adds three projectiles as well as increases the shield's resilience. Her Elemental Burst, Signature Mix, tosses a flask of cold beverage that damages enemies and leaves behind a field which continually damages enemies and heals allies.

Liyue
The Liyue Qixing and its allies
Ningguang (Eclipsing Star)

Japanese VA: Sayaka Ohara
The Tianquan of the Qixing, Ningguang is one of the richest people in Liyue, wealthy enough to own the Jade Chamber, a floating mansion hovering in the skies over Liyue. While seemingly everyone in the town knows her, Ningguang herself is even rumored to know anything that's happening within her region.

As a catalyst user, Ningguang specializes in alternating between normal and charged attacks and thus make good use of Star Jades, which are generated by the former and which can be used to deal extra hits with the latter. She also specializes in striking from a safe distance, as her Elemental Skill, Jade Screen, creates a same-named veil of energy which blocks projectile attacks (as well as damages enemies upon being triggered), and her Elemental Burst, Starshatter, sends a volley of gemstones against her targets, with even more gemstones being generated if they pass through the Jade Screen.

Keqing (Driving Thunder)

Japanese VA: Eri Kitamura
The Yuheng of the Qixing, Keqing is a skeptic of the beliefs taught by the worshippers of Rex Lapis. To her, actions are preferred over words, and she proves this by being a workaholic. She believes that humanity's future has to be determined by humanity itself instead of relying on the gods.

Keqing's work ethic translates to fast, high-precision attacks with a high chance of landing critical hits, as well as strategic use of Lightning Stilettos launched by her Elemental Skill, Stellar Restoration, whose trajectory she can aim if charged. If she uses the skill again with an existing Stiletto, she will warp onto its location and deal a quick Electro-elemental slash (and if it is airborne, she can use it to immediately deal plunging attacks); if she uses a weapon charged attack, she manually detonates the Stiletto from a distance. Her Elemental Burst, Starward Sword, is a series of rapid slashes where she zig-zags around in an area while slashing her enemies.

Ganyu (Plenilune Gaze)

Japanese VA: Reina Ueda
The half-Adeptus secretary to the Liyue Qixing and emissary of its reigning Tianquan, Ningguang. Given her divided heritage, she is struggling to fit in to a Liyue where humanity and Adepti are beginning to drift apart.

Ganyu is unusual in that her shots can be charged for far longer than other archers, allowing her to fire Frostflake Arrows that deal wide-ranging damage. Her Elemental Skill, Trail of the Qilin, generates a Lotus that draws in enemies and subsequently explodes to deal Cryo damage, while her Elemental Burst, Celestial Shower, launches a bone-chilling rain of icicles.

Beidou (Uncrowned Lord of the Queen)
Japanese VA: Ami Koshimizu

The famed Captain of the Crux, whose feats are synonymous to legends according to the rumors in Liyue. Some say that Beidou can split mountains, part the sea, draw lightning through her sword, or slay even the mightest sea beasts. To her crewmates, Beidou is a respectable leader, and even if she is described as inscrutable, other well-known individuals like Ningguang still trust her.

As a claymore user, Beidou specializes in slow but much more powerful attacks. Her Elemental Skill Tidecaller allows her to assume a pose in which she will be able to absorb any form of damage by scaling it on her own HP, then sending it back with double her power. Her Elemental Burst Stormbreaker allows her to generate 2 sea dragon heads of pure electricity around her body that allow her to damage targets she attacks with electric shocks.

Adepti
The Guardian Yakshas
Xiao (Vigilant Yaksha)
Japanese VA: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka

As one of Liyue's Guardian Yakshas, Xiao has lived for thousands of years. Though he comes across as cold and dismissive of human life, he nevertheless protects Liyue and its people from evil spirits.

High-speed aerial combat is Xiao's forte, as unlike most characters his plunging attacks do not damage him no matter how high he falls. His Elemental Skill, Lemniscatic Wind Cycling, is a high-speed lunge he can perform up to twice in succession and can be performed in midair, while in his Elemental Burst, Bane of All Evil, he dons his Yaksha mask and takes on a much more ferocious attacking style, increasing his attacking range, damage potency and jumping height in exchange for slowly losing his HP.

Bubu Pharmancy

Qiqi (Icy Resurrection)

Japanese VA: Yukari Tamura
A little girl who died in an accident but was revived by the adepti with an immortal body. Spending several years suspended in amber, she was unearthed, woken up, and taken to Bubu Pharmacy, where she now works as an apprentice who gathers herbs. Her zombification isn't that perfect, either, leaving Qiqi with a tendency to rely on someone's orders. Worse, she finds it hard to make new memories as well, making her rely on a notebook to remember things.

Qiqi can easily go into the thick of battle with her high durability and a fighting style which seamlessly integrates offense and healing. Her Elemental Skill, Adeptus Art: Herald of Frost, summons the same-named ice spirit hovering around her which damages enemies (immediately upon use and if targets remain close) and gradually heals the active character's HP (as well as inactive characters if Qiqi is the one attacking). Her Elemental Burst, Adeptus Art: Preserver of Fortune, generates a burst of ice, damaging enemies and marking them with Fortune-Preserving Talismans, allowing characters to heal their own HP whenever they attack affected enemies.

Wangsheng Funeral Parlor
Zhongli (Vago Mundo)
Japanese VA: Tomoaki Maeno

A businessman who works as the consultant for the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. He is an intellectual with a great deal of knowledge on all manners of subjects related to Liyue's inner workings, but his knowledge hides a scatterbrained side to him, being somewhat ignorant of money and often must have others cover his debts.

Zhongli's combat style revolves around generating Stone Steles with his Elemental Skill, Dominus Lapidis—in addition to dealing damage to enemies, they can be climbed, they can resonate with other Geo constructs and continuously damage enemies, and with the charged version of the Skill, he can create a strong shield, damage nearby enemies, and drain Geo energy off enemy constructs. His Elemental Burst, Planet Befall, lobs a meteorite onto his enemies, dealing large Geo damage and inflicting them with Petrification, rendering them immobile.

Hu Tao (Fragrance in Thaw)

Japanese VA: Rie Takahashi

Seventy-seventh and current director of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor and Zhongli's boss, who took the position at a young age. Seemingly playful and carefree, she can be serious when it comes to her job, as she believes her work pays a tribute to two realms at once.

Hu Tao's fighting style straddles the realms of the living and the dead with her Elemental Skill, Guide to the Afterlife, which sacrifices 30% of her HP to enter a state of "Paramita Papillo", which raises her Attack (based on a percentage of her max HP, up to 400% of the normal value) and flinching resistance, imbues her attacks with a Pyro effect that cannot be overwritten by Elemental reactions, and inflicts Blood Blossoms with her charged attacks, which gradually damages those afflicted every four seconds. Her Elemental Burst, Spirit Soother, lobs an explosive spirit on enemies and heals her (up to five times for every enemy hit), with further increase to both damage and healing if her HP is below 50%.

The Fatui Harbinger in Liyue

Tartaglia"Childe" (11th of the Fatui Harbingers)

Japanese VA: Ryohei Kimura
Eleventh and youngest of the Harbingers, he traveled to Liyue to be in charge of funding for the city's finances. He assists the Traveler in finding the truth about Rex Lapis's murder and the reason behind his death to clear their name.

As an archer, Tartaglia specializes in inflicting enemies with "Riptide" status, allowing him deal gradual wide-area damage if he uses another charged shot and inflict other enemies with Riptide if he defeats the afflicted enemy. This mechanic, however, belies his greatest specialty: the ability to alternate between ranged and melee modes with his Elemental Skill, Foul Legacy: Raging Tide, which grants him a melee-exclusive ability to deal greater damage to enemies afflicted with Riptide. His Elemental Burst, Havoc: Obliteration, varies depending on his stance—if he is in ranged mode, he will rain down arrows on enemies and inflict them with Riptide; if he is in melee mode, he unleashes a wide-ranging, Hydro-infused slash that can cause further explosions of water on targets afflicted with Riptide.

Others

Xiangling (Exquisite Delicacy)

Japanese VA: Ari Ozawa

Head chef and waitress at Wanmin Restaurant, one of the most popular restaurants in Liyue Harbor. When she's not working with her father Mao, she can be seen traveling Teyvat with her pet red panda, Guoba, in search of culinary ideas and to meet fellow chefs. The Traveler and Paimon first meet her sneaking up to catch some boars near Springvale.

Xiangling specializes in adroit combat and fighting in tandem with Guoba. Her Elemental Skill, Guoba Attack, orders her pet to breath fire four times at enemies, while her Elemental Burst, Pyronado, summons a swirling flame around her.

Xingqiu (Juvenile Galant)

Japanese VA: Junko Minagawa

The second son of a Liyue commerce guild leader, Xingqiu is seemingly a polite and studious young man. However, he has a penchant for getting into trouble—and then using his social position to get back out of trouble. An eager reader and martial artist, he holds chivalric ideals in high esteem and longs to be the kind of hero he reads about.

Xingqiu specializes in protecting his allies with the Rain Swords generated by his Elemental Skill, Guhua Sword: Fatal Rainscreen, a two-hit backflip slash which generates three such swords orbiting him, each of which are expended to reduce damage taken (with a bonus based on 20% of Xingqiu's Hydro damage bonus), as well as increases flinching resistance, while his Elemental Burst, Guhua Sword: Raincutter, initiates the "Rainbow Bladework" state, which continually regenerates Rain Swords and also uses them to deal Hydro damage in tandem with regular attacks.

Chongyun (Banisher of Evil and Rumours Thereof)

Japanese VA: Soma Saito

Heir to a famed exorcist clan, Chongyun has the interesting dilemma of being too susceptible to positive energy. While this overabundance of Yang energy easily vanquishes evil spirits and demons, he is prone to intense mood swings, entering a manic state if he gets too heated, and he has no memory of these incidents afterwards. Therefore, he takes various precautions to keep himself from overheating, including abstaining from spicy foods and staying out of the sun.

Chongyun excels at going into the thick of combat and supporting his allies with his Elemental Skill, Spirit Blade: Chonghua's Layered Frost, a downward slash that generates Frost Fields, which imbues sword, claymore and polearm attacks with Cryo, while his Elemental Burst, Spirit Blade: Cloud-Parting Star, summons three icy blades to rain down on a group of enemies.

Xinyan (Blazing Riff)

Japanese VA: Chiaki Takahashi
A musician and Liyue's sole practitioner of rock 'n' roll, a genre commonly associated with Fontaine. She fights against prejudices with her energetic, literally fiery performances, though that is not helped by her performances frequently rousing her audience into chaos.

Xinyan specializes in going into the thick of battle, with her Elemental Skill, Sweeping Fervor, using her guitar to damage enemies as well as generate a damage-absorbent shield which has increased effectiveness (especially against Pyro damage) depending on how many enemies she hits (and at maximum it can deal gradual Pyro damage), as well as imbues her regular attacks with Pyro, while her Elemental Burst, Riff Revolution, creates a fiery shockwave all around her.
